IEM Cologne Major 2026: Predictions, Odds & Our Picks
The CS2 Major is back in Cologne and the playoffs start Thursday. Vitality favored but shaky, Spirit and FURIA flying: here are our bets, and why.

Counter-Strike is coming home. The IEM Cologne Major 2026 playoffs kick off Thursday June 18 at the LANXESS Arena, the first Major in the building since 2016. Eight teams, one trophy, and one question for us: where's the actual value?
Two traps to dodge here. One, slapping your money on the chalk at 1.30 and calling it safe, at that price there's nothing left to win. Two, the opposite, 9z just bodied Vitality in Stage 3 so suddenly everyone's chasing the 25.00 miracle. We're skipping both. We bet the value, not the names.
IEM Cologne 2026: Dates, Bracket & Favorites
Playoffs run June 18 to 21, four quarters in Bo3, Bo5 grand final on Sunday. One half: Aurora vs BetBoom and Falcons vs Vitality. Other half: 9z vs FURIA and Spirit vs G2.
Vitality is the book's favorite around 2.00, ahead of Spirit at 2.70 and FURIA at 4.50. Everyone else sits in longshot territory, from Falcons (10.00) down to G2 (25.00).
Two things actually matter before you bet. Spirit and FURIA are the only teams that came out of Stage 3 with a clean sweep. And Vitality showed real cracks losing to 9z. The world's number one isn't untouchable this week.
Team Vitality Prediction: Is the Favorite Worth It at 2.00?
Defending back-to-back Major champs, still ranked number one. On paper they're the best team here, and the market agrees by putting them on top.
Thing is, Cologne's been rough. The 9z loss, and a ZywOo basically hard-carrying them past MOUZ to keep the run alive. The quarter is a bad draw too: Falcons has beaten them three straight and feels at home on Dust2, the exact map Vitality stalled on in Stage 3.
So we're not touching the title at 2.00, too short for a team this shaky right now. We like Vitality to reach the final @ 1.60 instead. Their half of the bracket is the cleaner one once Falcons is out of the way, and even off their game they know how to claw back. Confidence: 3/5.
Back Vitality to reach the final !Team Spirit Prediction: The Value Play at 2.70
3-0 through Stage 3 without breaking a sweat, and a donk who's in his best Major form of the year. When he's at this level he wins a map by himself.
Honest catch: if Spirit runs into Vitality in the semi, recent history leans hard French, six straight head-to-heads going Vitality's way. So it's not a risk-free ticket.
But at 2.70 for the title, against 2.00 for a Vitality that's wobbling, the price gap is wider than the actual gap in form we've seen this week. It's our top value at the sharp end of the market. Spirit to win @ 2.70. Confidence: 3/5.
Back Spirit for the title !FURIA Prediction: The Best Longshot at 4.50
The tournament's other 3-0, with wins over B8, MOUZ and BetBoom. The team is disciplined. YEKINDAR is playing above his usual ceiling and molodoy brings the spark that was missing.
Heads up though: the quarter against 9z is a South American derby, and 9z just took down Vitality. Not the comfy draw.
If you want the big swing that the data actually backs up and not just a dream, this is the one. FURIA to win @ 4.50. Best risk-reward on the board if you're cool with the road they have to walk. Confidence: 2/5.
Back FURIA for the title !IEM Cologne MVP Odds: ZywOo or donk?
Two names stand out on the MVP market: ZywOo at 1.90, donk at 2.00. Everyone else is a long way back.
Here's the thing, this bet is tied to your title pick. If you're riding Vitality deep, ZywOo MVP is the logical call, he's got the best playoff consistency this season. If your read is Spirit, then donk MVP @ 2.00 is basically a clone of your outright.
Pick the team you believe in, not both.
Back the Major MVP !Our IEM Cologne Bet Card
| Bet | Odds | Confidence |
|---|---|---|
| Vitality to reach final | 1.60 | 3/5 |
| Spirit to win | 2.70 | 3/5 |
| FURIA to win | 4.50 | 2/5 |
| Donk or ZywOo MVP | 2.00 / 1.90 | 3/5 |
No bet is a lock, especially in Bo3 where one map flips everything. We never put a 5/5 on anything because it doesn't exist. Only stake what you can afford to lose, and keep some bankroll for the rest of the run.
